01. Get your assistant live

  1. Your website. Ready to help.

Already created your workspace and added your website? Let's get your Sairo assistant live.

  2. Open Get started

Open Get started in the sidebar. Your setup checklist keeps verification, indexing, installation, and testing in one place.

  3. Verify ownership

Add the supplied verification file to your website, or use the DNS record. Then select Check verification. Ownership must be verified before indexing.

  4. Index your pages

Select Refresh website content. Sairo reads the verified website and prepares its knowledge. The next step appears when indexing finishes.

  5. Copy. Add. Publish.

Copy your unique snippet. Add it before the closing body tag, or in your website builder's global custom-code area. Publish, then confirm that you've added it.

  6. Ask a real question

Open your website and select Ask a question. Try something visitors actually ask, such as: Do you offer free inspections? Then send it.

  7. Check the answer

Read the answer and its source. In this example, the reply confirms free residential inspections in Franklin County. Test your own important questions too.

  8. Your first answer, ready for visitors.

Your assistant is ready for a first conversation. Next, keep its answers accurate with confirmed knowledge.

02. Teach Sairo a better answer

Save a confirmed answer in the knowledge library, check source coverage and watch the next reply use it. Saved answers take priority when a visitor asks a matching question.

  1. A better answer starts with you.

A visitor asks about Sunday inspections. Here's how to give Sairo the confirmed answer your team wants to use.

  2. Open the library

Open Knowledge library, then choose Add saved answer. Select the website that this information belongs to.

  3. Be specific

Enter the exact question and a clear, verified answer. Here, the business confirms that Sunday inspections are unavailable and gives the visitor a useful next step.

  4. Save the answer

Select Save new answer. Wait for confirmation. Saved answers take priority when a visitor asks a matching question.

  5. Check coverage

In Check your knowledge, enter the same visitor question and select Check source coverage. This checks saved knowledge; it does not generate a live reply.

  6. Read the result

Look for A saved answer is ready. Read the returned wording and confirm that it answers the question completely.

  7. Try the next reply

Now ask the question in the website assistant. The visitor receives the saved answer, including the next step for arranging an inspection.

  8. Teach once. Help the next visitor.

Repeat this whenever a policy changes or a visitor finds a gap. Keep the wording specific and confirmed.

03. Take over a live conversation

Enable live chat for a website, set a specialist available, join a waiting visitor, reply in the same conversation and end it clearly.

Before you start: A website owner enables live chat and selects an eligible teammate. The workspace, visitors and figures shown are fictional examples.

  1. When a visitor needs a person.

Some questions need your team. Sairo lets a specialist join the visitor's existing conversation.

  2. Choose a specialist

Open the website's Settings and installation. Enable live chat, choose an eligible teammate, and save the live chat settings.

  3. Set Available

The specialist selects Go available in the workspace header. Check that the status says Available. Visitors can now see that a person is online.

  4. The visitor asks

The visitor selects Talk to a person and leaves their question. Their request appears in your live queue.

  5. Join the request

Open Live chat. Read the earlier messages for context, then select Join live chat. The conversation is assigned to you.

  6. Reply as yourself

Write a helpful reply in Message to visitor and select Send. The visitor sees your name and your response in the same chat.

  7. One conversation

There is no need for the visitor to repeat the earlier question. Your team reply stays alongside the assistant's messages.

  8. Finish clearly

When you have finished helping, select End live chat. Set yourself Away when you are no longer available to take requests.

  9. A human reply. All the context.

If nobody is available, Sairo lets the visitor leave a message for the team without promising an immediate reply.

04. Turn an enquiry into a follow-up

Find the conversation, read what the visitor asked, give the captured lead an owner, a stage, a follow-up date and a note, then find it again in the follow-up list.

  1. An enquiry. A clear next step.

A visitor has shared contact details. Here's how to turn that enquiry into a follow-up your team can act on.

  2. Find the enquiry

Open Conversation inbox. Search for the visitor or the subject of their enquiry, then apply the filters. Here, we're finding Jamie Parker.

  3. Read before acting

Open the matching conversation. Read what Jamie asked for and the contact details they shared before deciding what should happen next.

  4. Open the lead

Select Jamie under Captured leads. The lead keeps contact details, ownership, progress, and follow-up notes together.

  5. Give it an owner

Choose the teammate responsible for the next action. After contacting the visitor, update the lead stage to Contacted so the team knows where it stands.

  6. Set the next action

Set the next follow-up date and add a short internal note. In this example, Dave needs to confirm an inspection time with Jamie. Select Save lead.

  7. Find what's due

Return to Leads and follow-ups. Select Follow-up due and apply the filters. Jamie now appears with an owner, stage, and follow-up date.

  8. Every lead has a next action.

Check this list each day. Follow-up dates organise your work list; they do not send automatic reminders or messages to the visitor.

05. Review what needs attention

Set the reporting scope, read the outcome signals, export a report if useful, find unanswered questions in the inbox and choose one gap to fix in the knowledge library.

  1. See the pattern. Improve the answer.

Make a short review part of your week. Use Sairo's analytics to choose one useful improvement.

  2. Set the scope

Open Analytics. Choose the website and reporting period, then apply the filters. The report uses UTC calendar days.

  3. Read the signals

Compare conversations, leads and bookings, and capture rate. Look at unanswered outcomes for signs that visitors need information your assistant could not provide.

  4. Keep the context

Use the activity chart and outcome breakdown to understand the pattern. These outcomes describe conversations; they are different from the list of knowledge gaps still needing attention.

  5. Export if useful

Select Export daily report when you need a file for a team review. The export follows the report's selected filters.

  6. Find open gaps

Open Conversation inbox, choose Unanswered, and apply the filters. This view helps you find questions that still need a verified answer.

  7. Choose one fix

Open a conversation and read the actual question. Here, a visitor asked about skylight repairs. Confirm the answer with your team, then save it in Knowledge library.

  8. Review. Learn. Help the next visitor.

Choose one gap, save a confirmed answer, and check it. That simple weekly habit keeps your assistant useful as your business changes.

Common questions

Can I download a film or its captions?

Yes. Each film on this page has a download link for the MP4 and for its English captions in WebVTT format, and the written transcript is available under every player.

Is the workspace in the films real?

The interface and the operations are real. The business, visitors, contacts and performance figures are fictional recording fixtures, so nothing shown is a customer result.

Why does a film start part way through setup?

Each walkthrough opens at the point where its job begins and states what to have ready first. The first film, for example, assumes a workspace and a website already exist, which the written setup guide covers in full.
