Clear terms for using Sairo.

These terms apply when you request, buy, access or use the Sairo service, including the sairo.app website, the embedded assistant, Sairo for Mac and Windows, and the Sairo mobile apps. A signed order or separate agreement can add to or replace the relevant parts of these terms.

Agreement, authority and eligibility.

By creating or accepting access to a workspace, using the service, installing an app or completing an order, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you use Sairo for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for it. Sairo is offered to businesses and the people who work with them; you must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.

An order, checkout or written agreement identifies the customer, selected plan, price, billing arrangement and any additional commitments. If it conflicts with these general terms, the more specific written agreement controls for that customer.

Accounts and workspace access.

Keep account credentials confidential and provide accurate account and billing information. Workspace owners control invitations, roles, project access, connected websites and the people authorised to review conversations or change knowledge.

Tell Sairo promptly if you believe an account or invitation link has been compromised. Sairo may revoke sessions, disable an account or restrict access when reasonably needed to protect the service, a workspace or another person.

Your websites, content and conversations.

You keep ownership of the websites, source material, saved answers, branding and other content you provide. You give Sairo permission to fetch, process, store and display that material only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service for your workspace. Sairo does not use your content to train AI models and does not permit its providers to do so.

You must have permission to connect a website and to process the visitor, assistant and live specialist messages or contact details collected through it. You are responsible for choosing authorised specialists and giving visitors the notices your use requires. Website ownership verification, robots.txt, source exclusions and allowed origins are controls; they do not replace those responsibilities.

Acceptable use.

Do not use Sairo to break the law, infringe rights, deceive people, distribute malware, probe systems without permission, evade usage controls, send spam, harass anyone, or make high-impact decisions about a person without appropriate authority and human review.

Do not upload secrets or sensitive information that the agreed service is not intended to handle. Do not present generated output as professional medical, legal, financial, employment, credit, housing or emergency advice. A specialist can end an abusive visitor chat, block that visitor from the website, and report the conversation to Sairo; anyone can also report abuse through the contact form. Sairo may suspend activity that creates a security, legal or service-integrity risk.

AI-assisted answers require review.

Sairo retrieves configured website material and uses an AI provider to prepare responses. Guardrails, saved answers, source controls and refusal behaviour reduce mistakes, but generated output can still be incomplete, delayed or incorrect.

You are responsible for reviewing the assistant before launch, maintaining the connected content, monitoring important conversations and deciding when a person must take over. Sairo does not guarantee that a generated answer is accurate, suitable for a regulated decision or a substitute for professional judgement.

Ask Sairo and authorised external applications can also prepare or apply supported workspace changes. Check the proposed information, the affected website and the access you grant. An external application has its own confirmation behaviour and data practices; read-only access is available when it should only retrieve information.

Plans, billing and cancellation.

The Free plan has no monthly charge or payment-card requirement and keeps a small Powered by Sairo mark on the installed widget. Published paid prices are monthly amounts in US dollars before applicable taxes unless an order says otherwise. Plan allowances cover websites, indexed pages, page refreshes and conversations as described on the pricing page. Sairo does not automatically charge an unlisted overage; additional capacity requires a plan or allowance change.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which collects payment details, issues invoices and provides the billing portal; Sairo never stores card numbers. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. A cancellation or downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already charged for a period are not refunded unless the law, the checkout terms or a written order provides otherwise. Manual arrangements, custom plans, credits, taxes and payment dates follow the checkout or written order agreed with the customer. Access may be restricted for an unpaid or expired arrangement after reasonable notice where practicable.

Desktop and mobile apps.

Sairo for Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android are free companion apps for existing Sairo accounts. They contain no in-app purchases, do not create accounts or sell plans, and receive updates only through the store or download channel that supplied them. Features depend on your workspace, plan and assigned permissions.

An app obtained from the Apple App Store is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and an app from Google Play under Google Play’s terms. Those licences cover the app software; these service terms and the privacy policy govern the Sairo service you sign in to. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the service, its content or its support.

Personal data and privacy.

Sairo processes personal data as described in the privacy policy, which names its providers, retention periods and the way to request access, correction or deletion. For visitor conversations and other workspace records, the customer decides why and how they are processed and Sairo acts on the customer’s instructions as its service provider; the customer is responsible for its own privacy notices and lawful basis. Sairo provides a data processing agreement to a customer that needs one.

Service providers and availability.

Sairo relies on hosting, database, AI, payment, email and optional SMS providers. Their availability can affect the service. Planned maintenance, security work, provider incidents or changes to connected websites may interrupt an answer, live chat message, crawl, email or payment workflow.

Unless a separate written agreement provides a service level, the service is provided on an available basis. Sairo may change features to improve security, accessibility, reliability or product behaviour and will avoid materially reducing paid functionality without reasonable notice where practicable.

Warranties and liability.

The service is provided as available. Except as stated in a written order or required by law, Sairo gives no warranty of uninterrupted operation, of the accuracy of generated output, or of fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for backing up content you need and for the decisions you make using the service.

To the extent permitted by law, Sairo is not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, lost profits, lost business or lost data, and Sairo’s total liability for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the service in that period, or USD 100 for a workspace that paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Ending access and deleting data.

You may stop using the service at any time, cancel a paid subscription in the Dodo Payments billing portal, and request deletion of your account or workspace through the contact form. Deletion follows the privacy policy: the account is disabled when the request is confirmed and personal data is removed within 30 days, except records kept for legal, tax or security reasons. Sairo may suspend or end access for material breach, non-payment, unlawful use, security risk or conduct that harms the service or others, with notice where practicable.

Ending access does not remove payment obligations already incurred. Contact Sairo before cancellation if you need an export or have a contractual retention requirement; conversation transcripts and CSV exports are available in the product while the workspace exists.

Changes to these terms.

Sairo may update these terms; the date shown on this page identifies the current version. Material changes to paid features, prices or your obligations are announced at least 30 days in advance by email or in the product where practicable, and continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any subscription before the change takes effect.
